The Cat’s Pajamas newest!

Oh my! Talk about love at first sight…. That was exactly how I felt about the Hugs Needed stamp set.

Aside from the fact that all of the images are super cute, this set felt personal. My daughter is a freshman in college 15+ hours away. The entire family miss her like crazy. Especially, out little Scottish Terrier, Tavi. Tavi looks just like this little pup! Hugs are missed…and seriously needed!

And here is the card I made –

I wanted to keep this card super simple and stamped the image with copic safe ink and colored it with copic markers. I drew right over the tree with a brown marker at add a little color- looks like its shaded!

I used the hearts in the I’m Not Fat stamp set and the dotted swirl stamp to help convey the message that we are sending love! I used a cloud stencil and added Distress ink to create the clouds in the background.

I stamped the sentiment with red ink which helps create a visual triangle of red between it, the hearts and the collar on the dog.

I trimmed the paper down and matted it on pattern paper and added it to a cardstock base.
