Oh my! Talk about love at first sight…. That was exactly how I felt about the Hugs Needed stamp set.
Aside from the fact that all of the images are super cute, this set felt personal. My daughter is a freshman in college 15+ hours away. The entire family miss her like crazy. Especially, out little Scottish Terrier, Tavi. Tavi looks just like this little pup! Hugs are missed…and seriously needed!
This is my daughter and her pup-
And here is the card I made –
I wanted to keep this card super simple and stamped the image with copic safe ink and colored it with copic markers. I drew right over the tree with a brown marker at add a little color- looks like its shaded!
I used the hearts in the I’m Not Fat stamp set and the dotted swirl stamp to help convey the message that we are sending love! I used a cloud stencil and added Distress ink to create the clouds in the background.
I stamped the sentiment with red ink which helps create a visual triangle of red between it, the hearts and the collar on the dog.
I trimmed the paper down and matted it on pattern paper and added it to a cardstock base.

It may be edging on Thanksgiving and we have been crafting for Christmas for a while now. It is NOT to early to be thinking of Valentine’s Day…and truly. This adorable stamp set from The Cat’s Pajamas can be used any time of year!
This is the Hello Darlin’ stamp set and it is just so fun! Here is the card I made using it. I can not think of a more appropriate image for google eyes!!
For this card I stamped and then colored these little flocked friends with copic markers. I then cut it out using a circle die.
I cut a sheet of pattern paper down to 4 x 5 1/2 and cut a circle closet to the top with the same circle die. I added a scalloped circle die to help frame this image and placed my image inside circle on the pattern paper. I adhered this to a cardstock base.
I then stamped the sentiment and heat embossed it in white.
I added the google eyes right over the stamped eyes…I think it is such a fun touch to these already fun birdies!

It’s time!!! Today is the newest release for The Cat’s Pajamas!
We are celebrating with a blog hop that you will not want to miss! So many adorable products and sooooo much inspiration !
I am a sucker for all things cookie so I knew I wanted to use the Cookie Die to make my card for the hop!
For this card I stated by cutting the Cookie Die from white card stock and Kraft. I sent all the pieces aside while I inked up the Twist Stencilz with light brown ink on Kraft paper.
On a circle die I assembled my little gingerbread cookie and then cut a bite from him using the edge of a scallop die! This makes the perfect bite shape! I wanted the cookie’s expression to be shock so I drew in a small oval with a white gel pen!
I added a little bow and then used the ‘Naughty’ sentiment from last months Knome Peeking Stamps set for my sentiment ! Perfect!
I am the last stop on the hop. If you have not already see the other posts, check out the links below to see much much more!

Dogs have my heart. All dogs. Big dogs and little dogs…all dogs. In fact, our family has three – a Great Dane, a Scottish Terrier and a Boston Terrier. The Dane is about 130 pounds and the Boston is about 6 pounds! They are a members of the family and all three, especially the Scotty, are spoiled rotten!
I could not resist this adorable little pile of Christmas puppies!
I wanted to make a one layer card so I stamped the image from the Feliz Navidog stamp set with copic safe ink and then colored each one of those sweet pups.
Since they are pretty small, they did not require a lot of shading, so the coloring went quickly!
Around the edge of the card I sponged on some Distress inks in shades of blue. I masked off the bottom to keep it white like snow. I used a super light copic marker to draw in a few snow drift. I staped my sentiment with black on and used a black gel pen on the pups noses ad eyes. I think this creamy makes them pop!

So, my hubby does not share my love of stamping but he loves this stamp set! He is a HUGE Harry Potter fan…HUGE. I wish I had a dollar for every time he has seen every single one of the movies. I would be rich.
This is the Snapes Alive set which is new from The Cat’s Pajamas. I paired it with the Birch Trees stencil to make this card.
First, I used a die to cut a circle from gray cardstock. Then I inked over the circle using the Birch Trees stencil. I stamped and colored the images using copic markers the fussy cut each one. Thsee images are easier to fussy cut then you might think!
I arranged the images on the card base a day card was done! Easy and adorable!

It’s time for the reminder for the new challenge over at The Cat’s Pajamas blog! The challenge is the LAYER UP! Simply create a card with layers and share it on the blog for the chance at a great prize!
This is my take on the challenge –
For this card I started layering severbal Distress inks over the Blizzard Stencil. I then layered the vellum over to top to soften the design a bit. On the main panel of the card I stamped a sentiment from the Scripted Sentiments stamp set. I even layered the sequence ! …the Hopeless Sequence in Blue Moon to be exact!
The last layer added was the ribbon andI think it just makes for a wonderful sseasonal Thank you card! We love to see what you mmake and ot will give you a chance on that prize!
Here is a little bit of a sneak peek for the NEW RELEASE from The Cat’s Pajamas
I will go onto more detail in a blog post lafter this week. I used the sweet and adorable ‘Hey Boo’ stamp set to make this card!
So…you tell a clean and simple girl to make something ‘clean and simple’ and she can’t quite do it! Granted, this is a little more to that description then some of my cards, but this is what I came up with for the latest challenge on The Cat’s Pajamas blog.
I started with coloring my favorite bunny in the world with my Copic Markers and then fussy cutting him out. This image is from the Forget the Cake stamp set.
I then cut two rectangles using dies from my stash. I die cut one of the rectangles using the Dots die and adhered it to the other rectangle and then adhered it to my background.
I added a little fun foam behind my image for some dimension and embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder! …. kind of simple!
Be sure to join in the challenge! You will find it HERE!!! There is a great prize you could win! Check out The Cat’s Pajamas blog for more info!
Happy blog hop day! It’s time to start thinking Christmas with The Cats Pajamas!
Today I am sharing 2 cards made using just one die – the Joyeux Noel Cut Up die!
I started with a card base in a light blue. I blended on different shades of blue Distress inks using the Big Beautiful Blending Brush! This brush is amazing and blends so smoothly! It’s a must have.
I left the center of the card bases lighter and concentrated the darker near the edges. I then placed the die in the center of the card and cut it out! Then I die cut the word ‘noel’s inside the die cut banner and lifted it with some foam tape! I placed it on a white card base and my card was does!Easy as could be and I LOVE this card!
Here is an example of another rcard I made using another card base that was covered with the ink blending! I just cut it out as many times as I could and attached it to a rectangle die. I added the word ‘joy’ with foam for a little extra pop! And then some sparkle by using the beautiful sequence in this release.
We would love for you to hop along with us today! Here is the line up –

How adorable is this yeti! I just think he is too cute and so unique! He is the perfect star to any Christmas card!
For this card I used the Yeti Christmas stamp set! Today is day 4 of the sneak peeks and there is plenty more inspiration to be seen on The Cat’s Pajamas blog!
To start, I used the The Great Outdoors to trace and cut out the snow drift. I also used the stencil to create the background snow by sponging on Versamark ink on to a black card base and then heat embossing with pearl embossing powder.
I also heat embossed the trees with white embossing powder. I stamped and colored this adorable yeti with my copic markers. I added a bit of gloss to the Christmas ball he is holding with Nuvo Crystal Glaze. I fussy cut him out and the added him to the snow drift and then added it to my card base. I stamped the sentiment with red ink and my card was DONE!
Thanks for joining me today! Be sure to visit The Cat’s Pajamas blog for a chance to win amazing prizes each day of the sneak peeks!
