For this card I used the Santa Approved Stamps and dies and the Seasonal Sentiments and Borders Stamo Set. I used the holly for the sentiments set and randomly stamped the image with Over Coffee ink all over a piece of white card stock Inked with Catherine’s Sand Castle ink pad!

To color any white cardstock simply gently drag the ink pad along the paper! It’s super easy and perfect for those of us who like things to match perfectly.

I then took colored pencils and added just a smidge of green to the leaves and red to the berries. I brightened it up a bit with a dot of white gel pen.

I stamped the Rodolf Express Mail stamp in Midnight Ink and colored it with Copic markers. I also added a small red pearl for the nose!

I cut the stamp panel down to about 4 x 5 1/4 and attached it to a slightly larger piece of white cardstock.

I cut an 8 1/5 x 11sheet of thick cardstock into a tent fold and inked the front with Eucalyptus Ink.

I added the stamped panel to the card base.

This was a super easy and super fun card to make!

  17. Love how you created your own kraft paper with the Sand Castle ink. The pencil colouring is a soft and perfect backdrop to the red Rudolph focal image. Great card design!

  25. I think this card is my favorite one from this hop. I like the way you colored the background and then used a brown ink rather than black to stamp the holly. I never would have thought to color only a small part of the holly but love the look. Great focal point too. Thanks for the inspiration!
